Why I built ChoreLoop
I got tired of being the only one who noticed when the bathroom needed cleaning.
My partner and I tried everything: whiteboard chore charts (lasted two weeks), shared spreadsheets (nobody updated them), and "just communicate better" (easier said than done when you're both exhausted).
The problem wasn't motivation. It was visibility. Without a shared system, one person always ended up carrying the mental load of remembering what needed to be done and when.
